I went for a fill this morning and yet again, my band & port have become disconnected. This is the second time in less then a year that this has happened. I am so frustrated rightnow. I am ready to have the whole thing taken out. I have also had 2 slippages. I have never thrown up or don't overeat. Can anyone help???? I have to call my surgeon to set up an appt to see him, I just want to be ready with any info I can.

I have not had any of these problems, but if it was me I would be looking for another surgeon for a second opinion (at the very least). I don't think I would trust the first surgeon anymore, but that's just me! If you are comfortable with your surgeon and the work he has done then by all means keep going to see him, but there are other surgeons out there...maybe the problems will stop...? Good luck!!!
