Hi everyone, I was just curious to see how everyone is doing weightwise. So, I'd like to know, what is your surgery date, and how much have you lost SINCE surgery, not including the pre op dieting. Thanks and best of luck to everyone!

:thumbup:I was banded on 05/07/2008. It 's been a little over a year and I've lost 70 pounds. I wouldn't change a thing! I couldn't be happier. I did not have any complicaitons. The most common problem I have is constipation:blush: but take care of that with Benefil. I started off size 20/22 and I'm now wearing a size 14.:sneaky: I can't remember the last time I was a 14. I would still like to get about 20 more pounds off. I went from sitting on the couch every night to walking 3 to 4 miles everyday. I love it and would definately recommend this to everyone.

I'm good with my diet. chicken and fish with a little bit of veggies on the side. I don't stray from that too much. I don't eat any bread, rice,or Pasta. I'm scared to even try it.

I am with you all, surgery date 28th of May and to begin with I could see the restriction and lost steadily until I hit 9 lbs, then the restriction went away, weight loss stopped and bandster hell began! LOL, I am fighting the hungries and have 3 weeks till 1st fill. My willpower is not holding as strong as I would like but I am a work in progress I guess.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
