Dr. MacColl did my lapband surgery in May of this year. He is wonderful!! I was never rushed at an appointment, he always answered all of my questions very thoroughly, and his entire staff is extremely caring. Phone calls are always promptly returned on the rare occasion I don't get to speak to his nurse right away when I call. I can't recommend him or the staff at Altru high enough. Janet, the bariatric coordinator, is wonderful. Shellie, the PA who does the fills, is a hoot. I feel so blessed to have them on my team during my weight-loss journey.

I had Dr. Hape as my surgeon and also couldnt be happier. Janet and Shellie are a very useful tool to our weight loss. They are always willing to answer any of my 100 daily questions.

I am writing regarding Dr MacColl. He is now in Eugene, Oregon and he is now my doctor. Our surgeon moved on to another location. I saw Dr MacColl on Monday and was very impressed with him. I had a slight fill after having had my fill removed in August due to having reflux. He wants to go slowly so I don't face the same problems I had before. I just wanted you to know where he is and that he is already well liked.

Dr. MacColl was also my surgeon & everything had been wonderful. Shellie, his PA is truly amazing and has made this journey always a positive one. Although Dr MacColl has now moved on, the Altru system is still THE place to have this done!
