Recommend psychologist in the Melbourne, FL area?

The surgeon I'm going with (Dr. Domkowski) has a psychologist they refer patients to for the lapband process.

Well, for some reason, my insurance company won't accept her as the person who does it.

Anyone who lives in the area go to a particular person? I'm afraid I'll find someone and they'll end up being anti-weight loss surgery. I don't want to waste time and money on that.

Anyone have any names or ideas in finding someone to go to?

I saw Dr. Gayle King and she was AWESOME!!! She specializes in eating disorders so she had a very unique take on the whole situation.

Dr. Cotton is who Dr. Fusco uses and he charges $150.00 for the visit- He doesnt have much personality but if you are not planning on going to regular counseling I don't see how that would matter..

Your insurance company should provide you with a list of providers that do bariatric counseling...

Hope this helps:smile:

I agree to check with your insurance carrier.

I used Dr. Eysring (hope I spelled that right) in Merritt Island. That's who Dr. Kasemsap refers his patients to.
