My NUT said that I needed to focus on getting the minimum grams of protein a day and that I could space it out throughout the day however was comfortable. I need 65 grams a day, so I make a shake in the morning and get 35 grams (24 from the protein powder and 11 from the 8 oz of skim milk plus). It takes me about 45 minutes of sips to get the whole thing down, but it makes me feel better to know that I have gotten over half of my minimum out of the way first thing. If I haven't gotten close to 65 by dinnertime with other stuff I've had during the day, such as yogurt, soups, etc., then I have another full shake with 8 oz skim milk plus at dinner. Good luck and find what works for you!
