I just have to tell someone......

I was out today shopping for a new dress for a wedding. I went into Macy's and was looking at some dress when I see a dress I really like a lot. The colors where great looking on me but here is the biggest news that I just gotta tell some one. I tried on a 20 thinking this was the size I was in but nope so I went down to an 18 and this one was too big as well. So my mom got the same dress in an 16 and it fit! I just could not believe that a 16 actually fit me. I was so happy that I started to dance right in the dressing room. I have not seen this size since my youngest daughter was born in 1986. Yep that is right 1986 over 20 years ago. :tt2: I just had to tell someone else besides my mom and DH. He also said I am looking so good and keep it up.

I understand the need to tell someone. My wife and I are going through it together. She is down to a size 12, and I am now buying 36 pants and Large shirts vs 42 and XXL. Being able to tell somone is one of the nicer parts of this forum. Very few people get tired of hearing it.

Congrats on the success....even though the scales not moving like I think it should I'm seeing changes in my clothes so I guess I'll take that (even been doing some "Shopping" on the too small side of the closet)

Let me tell you, this brought a tear to my eye, because I know that this is such a big deal for you and for all of us! I am post op 4 days and already feeling great, well except for the gas and stuff, but I took a pic and posted on my Facebook and everybody was like WHOA! and thats just 17lbs lighter than before! Congrats, dear and I can't wait to do the same dance! :cursing:

Congrats!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I am having a rough day and REALLY needed to read your post!!! keep the good news coming! I hope to have good news like that soon! I have a box full of my favorite clothes that I cannot wait to fit back into! I know I have a long way to go...but at least the scale is going down...not up!!!

Blessings!

Chris

Congratulations, you will look absolutely WONDERFUL at the wedding :cursing: Just think how comfortable you will be showing off your new dress and your new figure. What a difference from the days when we just wore whatever we didn't feel too horrible in. :cursing:

Congratulations...keep up the good work because you're worth it!
