i have BC/BS, and our out of pocket was 1000.

worth every penny. LOL Have you looked into getting a loan?

My insurace has a limit of twenty thousand so anything after that I am considered self pay. So I just got all the bills in and I owe 10.000.

But since day one after surgery I have felt like a new woman and that is priceless!!!!!!!!!!

My ins has a 150 deductible and a 3000 "catastrophic cap" so my max would be 3150

if husband and I both had it, max would be 6300

worth it

plus if we did it at start of ins year, then the rest of our medical for year would be covered at 100%, so it would be do-able.
