I had to change my surgery date from June 29 to August 7 :-(

I am sad that it feels so long away, but by doing it this way, my husband can come with me to Mexicali, and I want to see him first thing when I get out of surgery. He is my rock.

I just have to keep telling myself, its coming! :-)

You have to do what's best for you. I was in a situation that did not allow me to wait... had to get the band out STAT. LOL.

I think having your husband there is too important. I am glad you decided to change your date. I know I could not go through this without my husband. I don't think you will regret it at all.

Hang in there - it will be here before you know it. And having your DH there will be a great benefit -- he can wait on you hand and foot for a few days (hehehe) ... keep yourself busy between now and then and before you even realize it, your day will be here.
