Pureed MEAT???

Ok, am I the only person that is horrified at the thought of pureeing meat??

For those who have done it, is it awful? What are some other options?

I LOVED my pureed meats...to have flavor was amazing, and a small chewing too. My favs were pureed chili, beef masaman (thai food) with rice, roasted chicken (the kind from the store) with chicken broth and spices like cumin, coriander, and other similar things to change the flavor - 1 pureed chicken leg lasted 3-4 meals and I could feed the rest to my family!)

this is off topic but can anyone tell me how to put a ticker at the bottom of my posts so i can track my weight loss? i had the surgery on the 22nd and have lost 4 pounds so far. i am so paranoid about food, i almost feel like i have an alien in me and i am scared of doing anything i shouldn't. i hope this feeling passes.

I once blenderized some chunky chicken soup with chunks of real chicken. I ate a couple of bites - it tasted alright but looked a mess. I decided from that point on that for 2 weeks I could live without meat. I ate cottage cheese, hot cereals, refried beens were the bomb. I also ate a lot of broiled salmon when I got to the real food stage. I'm about 10 weeks out now and I've NEVER had a problem eating any foods. Had a steak today!
