not enough protien.. try to get in 45-50 grams a day even if you have to drink a protien shake.. that will help the hairloss

Lots of us bandsters lost hair right after surgery...I think it is a combination of things, anasthesia, lack of protein, lack of fat in your diet...Once your body adjusts it does get better...my hair loss is very minimal now 16 months post op

It's all about protien baby! I've been neglecting my protien count whilst counting calories like a mad woman and my hair is falling out as well. Back to protien for me! I'm over a year out, so it can happen to anyone who's not getting enough protien :)

I have also been losing a lot of hair lately but everyday I count my protien and I am getting at least 70 grams a day. ????????/ I don't know what's going on with me? Will anything else cause this. I am getting 1500-1700 calories a day as well. Thanks

I lost a heap of hair after surgery. Only within the last month has it really stopped falling out. I've also increased my protein a good bit within the last month though, so I'm not sure if its that, or if its because of the surgery, for me.
