17 lbs is awesome! & to answer your question, yes it's normal. Some people have restriction before a fill & some don't. Just hang in there til your first fill. This is supposed to be your healing time anyway. Keep us posted! .....Jess

I'm also afraid I haven't eaten properly....I don't think I chew as well as I should....I eat with a baby spoon....I never take in more than a 1/2 cup at a time, but I do eat more often....I hope I am not working my stomach to much....I sure hope my band don't slip....I don't PB or slime....will the doctor be able to tell if I have hurt my band....can they see the scar tissue.....

You are doing a great job. Know what you are doing wrong is half the battle. Now do what you know you should be doing. Do tell you doctor everything so he can give you some good information. I know the doctor can feel the scar tissue and my doctor has told me to start massaging the area to help break it up so my fills will be easier. I did not get a fill yet because he said I am loosing nicely but I go back in 3 weeks.

Plan your meals be sure to get in your Protein, Vitamins, Water and all the good stuff. Good Luck
