I was banded on 3/13, last night I woke up with a rumpling sound coming out of my throat, it was like air I had to keep clearing my throat to get it to stop and it is still doing it this morning.

Has anyone had something like that happen?

I haven't heard of that. Is it still happening? Please call your doctor if it persists.... Good luck; maybe it's just a natural thing and will pass quickly.

is it like a long winded burp? what happens when you drink Water or eat?

sometimes I get weird sounds coming from my "bottom" stomac when i'm hungry...the sounds are alot different that when my "upper" pouch growls.

please let us know what the doctor says when/if you find out.

Monster-truck burps?? They come growling up from your bottom tummy, to the top tummy, and up the throat?? I have those at times. If I were a little more thin-skinned, I'd probably be mortified, but really it is just super funny to me. I hope that's all it is for you, too.

I had that - huge long rumbling burps that just flowed out, unlike how you can normally feel a burp as a pocket of air if that makes sense. i could just open my mouth and I didnt have to actually force a burp, it would just rumble out, sometimes lasting hilariously long.

It doesnt last, luckily!
