I'm also new here. My hubby is the one who getting banded. But since I have done all the research for him (because language barrier). I almost feel like I'm the one getting it. We both feel so nervous, but very exited at the same time. He is getting banded 9/25/05 with Dr. Ortiz in Cancun. Have any of you had it done with Dr. Ortiz in Cancun? or even better, any one schedualed to have it done on this date with him in Cancun too?

Congratulation !! Its only natural to be nervous. I don't even have a date yet and I'm nervous LOLOL !!! Try looking on the doctors and hospital threads for info on Dr. Ortiz.

I am very happy with him and his staff and his aftercare. He has been wonderful to me and my family every step of the way in the last 17 months.

Thanks for the support. We are doing our count down (-31 days). I can't wait to see him regain his health again. I'll keep doing my research on Ortiz, up to now he looks like he's the best. I hope to chat again you with.
