    • Yes, OctoMom seriously is mentally ill and needs to seek help.
    • No OctoMom is not crazy.

You are trying to make the people who post here see that they aren't perfect and that they shouldn't be calling Octomom names and saying that she's nuts.

Bingo!

Yes she is crazy... She now has six of the octuplets home, plus her six older children. And she fired the Angels in Waiting nurses and is employing private nannies and nurses - how does she pay for that? According to an public opinion poll -“ If Nadya can't take care of her children financially, do U think the government should take the kids away?” most of the voters say yes.

The poll doesn't show up -- it only links to the main page where you can create a poll. However, I would vote that she should lose her children, for sure. The welfare state was NOT created for cretins such as this who have no job, no healthcare, no stability, and no spouse to provide support to get services and live off HARD-WORKING, DECENT PEOPLE.

She has no business raising a school of guppies, much less these babies. Though I am for less interference, I say take them away and give them to the taxpayers who are already paying for them anyway, good people who would love to love children, not just collect them like trophies.

Obama doesn't mind giving our money to those who don't have health care, and to those who don't work for it? Why should we? After all, more than half the votes went to him. It's like FDR's new deal. Socialism. If it's ok for the rest of the country to get bailed out, why not for her. What's another million?

She just made some wrong choices. One of which was deciding to have children without a husband or father for them. Someone who could support her and help her to raise them. Crazy? No, just irresponsible in her decision making. Some people don't know how to look ahead of their choices and see the consequences or problems associated with them. For example, people who suffer with the sin of gluttony just can't seem to understand the consequences of overeating. Even though they know what putting that fork up to their mouth will do, they continue to do it. They know it will make them fat, and they will suffer for it later, but they continue to eat, eat and eat some more. They don't want to look down the road at diabetes, heart disease or any other obesity rellated health problems. She, too, didn't look down the road at what having so many kids without the means to support them would do. She shouldn't have continued to put that fork up to her mouth, but she wanted a big family. We all do wrong in life, and have to bare the consequences. She's baring hers now, and we're baring ours. She's not crazy, just human.

It is true that we all do wrong in life.

However, I could see almost everyone in jail or prison using this same argument. Maybe I want a porsche . . . I could go steal one if i had the skills needed to do so. It would be a wrong choice and irresponsible on my part and I would most likely bear the consequences for my actions. My family would suffer in the lack of my presence in the home and income in the household. Would I be crazy for making such a lousy decision . . . yeahhhh, absolutely.

The law would punish me for stealing from others in such a blatant way. The law could not punish me for using my womb to do the same thing - take away resources from others due to my own selfish desires.

I could argue that what she is doing far worse than stealing a car . . . because not only is she blatantly taking from other peoples resources, she is also taking away the ability for each child to have their fair share of attention and nurturing to grow successfully into adulthood. She has raised her own needs well above any one of those children who are all deserving of love and attention . . . who will suffer a lot more for it over their lives than someone who loses their porsche for a week or two.

So if she is not crazy . . . well then who is??? Those that don't understand the consequences of their actions, are they the crazy ones? If that is the case than I feel that she is far worse than crazy since she knows what she is doing but chooses to do it anyway.

Because "WE" are the ones PAYING FOR IT, and I, for one, DON'T WANT TO -- nor should I be FORCED to. It's criminal to STEAL from me to pay for THIS cow.

Unfortunately, too many out there have your screwed-up mentality, and that is what is destroying this country. Hell YEAH people will vote for a guy that they think is gonna give them something! Especially if they're losers like her.

Get a grip on yourself. I was being sarcastic. I can gladly say that I did not vote for him. Just like Obama plans for us to bail out those who were greedy and self centered on wallstreet and in the banking industry, and just like he plans for us to pay for each others health care, and just like he wants each of us to pay for everyone elses needs and wants in this country, so Nadia is doing the same. If youre not complaining about Obama's eratical spending spree, you have no place to complain about hers. He's doing the same thing. Spending money he doesn't have and has no way to repay it, taking from the people and handing it out to those who wont work, This is what socialism is all about. She's just taking advantage of what Obama wants for everyone in this country. A hand out. If you don't like what she is doing, just wait to see what you'll be paying for in the future in this country. TRILLIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Octomom is a total, selfish nutjob. That being said, I voted for Obama because while the government will always take our money, I'd rather see it being used in this country than see it used to destroy then rebuild foreign countries. Sorry for the politics...back to the thread...She is CRAZY.

Not THAT much money! If you think Bush spent alot, Obama spent more in his first 2 months than EVERY president from George Washington through George Bush put together. What some might spend on Nadia is but a penny compared to what Obama just spent with the strokes of his pen.

Hey, I KNOW I'm the king of taking a thread off topic, but let's try to keep this one on track. There's plenty of political threads you can post to (or heck.....start a new one if you are so moved) on here already.

So right. We can only handle one nutjob per thread, and right now we have three on this one, two of them being Nadya and Yo-mama.

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
