I have been researching lap band doctors in Mexico and was wanting testimonials from anyone who has used Dr Zapata. Please respond with good or bad experiences. I cannot find anything negative but I want to be on the safe side as I am a little nervous. Thanks for any info anyone can share....

Sorry, but I don't know anything about that particular Dr. However, I was once considering goin to Mexico because I am cash pay. Then I found out about the TLC Edge surgery center in Dallas TX and their cash price is $9990 and this includes pre-op work up and 6 fills in the first year. Just thought I would let you know. I am scheduled for March 5th. I start my liquid pre-op diet day after tomorrow.

I do not know about Dr. Zapata but I had my surgery done by Dr. Ponce de Leon in Mexico and it went great, very caring staff and nice facilities. I highly recommend him. Good luck!!!
