Hi everbody -

I just got banded 12 days ago and am doing just fine. No problems so far. I am, however, very scared about my new lifestyle to come. I will try my best to follow what the doctors tell me, but the part that freaks me out the most is the chewing and size of bites. I can't imagine I will ever get used to eating bites the size of a pencil eraser and chewing them so much. Is is really hard?

Congrats,, Its hard,,,& alot of work but well worth it. Hey it took me a while to learn to chew & pick easy to swallow foods but you will get through...stay on liquids soft foods as much as possible & dont cheat... stay foccussed and remember why you got this ...done
