Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor Any Buddies in Bmore?

Hi! I'd really like a buddy to provide some encouragement, food tips, and just help me to cope with this band! Sometimes when the going gets tough I get very self-critical and I know I'll need a positive pal by my side. Plus, I'd love some pointers on how to avoid getting things 'stuck', activities, etc. If you are in the Baltimore area that would be cool because I don't really have many friends in this area and would love to go out and have a girlie day (mani + pedi + ??) with someone.

About Me!

I'm 27, a teacher, 5'3, and was just banded on 2/3 at a weight of 207. I also have/had sleep apnea, which I'm sure is how I got approved for the surgery. The only people who I've told about me getting banded were my mom and my ex, both very supportive. I have no kids, no husband/boyfriend, no pets. I need a buddy!!

Thanks!

Hello - I was banded 3 weeks ago at St. Agnes in B-more. I can't really give you tips, but we can walk through this journey together.
