Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor Need a mentor! Just got my date!!

I just got my surgery date today!! I will be banded on March 9, I am so excited, I cried!

I know before I start my preop diet or anything else I will need someone to help me, if I have encouragement to eat well and EXERCISE, I know that I can do this! :confused:

Please let me know if anyone can be of help!!:thumbup:

    Welcome! Congratulations on getting the date for your surgery!! That is so exciting!!

    I have been banded since December 17, 2008, and have lost nearly 40 pounds so far. And while each surgeon has their own protocol that they'd like their patients to follow, I would be glad to support you through your journey!

    Thank you very much!! I went to my post op yesterday, and all is good...and today was my nutrician class...and I start my liquid diet on Sunday....so only 18 more days until surgery!! Unfortunately I have gained quite a bit of weight lately...so hopefully that will start to go away soon
