Can Someone with Gastroparesis Have the Lapband surgery?

I Have some Questions my Questions are:

1. I have a condition called Gastroparesis and I am looking in to Lap Band Surgery possibly in the Month of April or May When I can see the Specialist for Lap Band Surgery - Can someone who has Gastroparesis have the Lap Band Surgery?

2. Is there anyone who had Gastroparesis before their Lap Band Surgery that can give me some answers?

If you know the answers please message me:

I would think the answer would be no, but I'm not a surgeon. Your safest bet is to call a bariatric center in your area and ask.
