Hello everyone, I am attending a seminar about the lapband surgery next week at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Does anyone have any info to share about their program. Thanks:smile:

Gosh!! I know you are really excited!

If you don't mind me asking, are you a cash paying customer or is your insurance paying for it? Reason being, it seems that most people who paid for their own surgery had their surgery done immediately. I am going through insurance and I know it's probably going to be about 6 months before my surgery.

Also, do you know which band they will be using? I just received information about the Realize band and they have a great online support site. I'm sure that one probably isn't covered by insurance.
