I was banded Oct 25/08 and my first fill is to be mid Jan. When I spoke to the Radioligist and told him I had a 4cc band, he said they are not common. I have never figured out why exactly I got a 4cc. At any rate I just wanted to know from anyone out there that has a 4cc band how much they got for their first fill? I have a small amount restriction or rather tightness in the morning. Thanks for the help.

2cc at 6 weeks

.5 cc every 4 weeks thereafter until restricted

But your doc should do a fill and have you sit up and drink Water. He may remove part of that 2cc. But if you don't have any restriction with that...just go back 4 weeks later.

I think I got 2cc for my first fill, then around .5 for the subsequest fills, except for my last one 2 months ago, which was only .1cc. I have 3.8cc total in my 4cc band.
