The appt is for Wed 1/7/09 and Dr. Shah is the Director in charge and he is excellent!!!! I have several friends who have had the LAP BAND procedure and they are doing very well. My health is fair and I am excited and nervous. Bellevue Hospital also does this procedure and Medicare will pay for it. I will keep you posted.

Hi Yolanda, My Doc. is Dr Roslin.. an assoc. of Dr Shah. they are both wonderful doctors. I am getting banded on Jan 19th. Good Luck and look forwards to hear more from you.
