This is a continuation of the last of 2008 challenge. I have pretty much just copied our format over here and hopefully it will work. Everyone needs to put their weight as it is when joining the challenge, then put your current weight, and then your goal and how much you have to go. Do the quote from the last person who posted add yourself in alphabetical order and update your stats. Good luck everyone, and here it is! Keep in mind that this is for the whole year.

A couple of questions... if I may. How long is this challenge running? Like to march? Or A holiday? Because I have short term goals and long term. I'm in the valentine one, that someone is running here, but it's really not working for me, in the set up. But if this is like the "last of 2008 challenge" I'd like it.

This is kindda exciting. I have lost 90 lbs so far and should reach my ulitmate goal this year. I am hoping by June which is my surgery anniversary and then maintain it. Last year at this time, I never could've imagined I'd be reaching my goal this year! I put my start weight at what it was on Jan. 1st.

I will say I will lose 30 pounds for ALL of 2009. I have become a slow loser. Right now I am ok with that since my workouts are next to nothing. I even may consider getting pregant this year with my DH.. So I will set of a Bar of 30 pounds that will take me to 166. I hope to blow it out of the Water but I want an attainable goal... I have already lost 75lbs.

After a bit of thought and wallowing over last year's disappointing challenge results...I am in!

I am letting go of last year and how much I didn't lose and now I will focus on this year and the road to goal. The fact is that I lost 100lbs by my first Bandiversary and I know I can make it to goal.

That's it! I am setting the goal of 175 that is -69lbs by my Bandiversary. That would put me at goal.

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

        I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.
