PMS and a wide open band

MAN! I've read all the threads here and heard ya'll say that your band gets tighter around "that time of the month". Not me, I actually feel like I have LESS restriction and I want to eat EVERYTHING. UGH! My first period post band was the week right after surgery so I was on liquids and I don't think that was a good test. I'm now five weeks post op, it's that time again and I can cram A LOT down my throat. I know, I know, just because I *can* doesn't mean I should.

Sheesh, my PMS cravings are BAD today.

Plus I'm retaining so much Water I could be an aquafer. SHEESH!

:grumpy:

Anyone else get loose with PMS? What tricks do you use to get through it?

im guessing that you havent had a fill yet... everything will change once you get a fill or 2... you are probably wide open in general right now so it is no suprise that you are getting hungrier during your period..before any fill and at 5 weeks it is just like not even having a band because your swelling has most likely gone down and you are wide open!

I am right there with you...I can't seem to get satified this week AT ALL. It's killing me. I have been doing so good and things I know I shouldn't pick up I do. Oh when will it be over....today should be it at least I hope..this is the longest one ever. I am so glad to know there are others going through this. I was suppose to be schedule for my fill last week but the nurse forgot about me so hopefully it will be next week and not a day to soon.
