banded in arkansas

Hi guys! I was banded November 19,2008 by Dr John Baker in Little Rock,AR. I had my first fill yesterday(2cc) and am back on liquids(per dr's orders) today. I've lost 31 lbs so far. 15 while getting ready to have my surgery. I am so, so glad that I had this done, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! I don't really have a weight goal, I've been overweight all my life so I don't really know what a healthy, happy weight will be for me. My main motivation is to be strong & healthy. Anything else will be icing on the cake!(Excuse my poor choice of words!:hurray:

Welcome to LapBandTalk!

For my initial weight goal, I picked a number that was right on the cusp between an Overweight and a Normal BMI. I figure I can adjust it as I go but so far that seems to be realistic.
