My New Favorite Food Item

This past weekend I made a 4 bean salad with kidney Beans, garbonza beans, green beans, and yellow wax beans.

I used olive oil and balsalmic vinegar with some garlic salt and powder. I let it marinate overnight and boy was it good and filling . Of course, I wish I had made this before banding, but better late than never...:)

Mmm now that sounds good and a great source of fiber and protein! I'll have to make myself some of that!! Thanks for the great idea.

I ate some of that at a luncheon just this past weekend. It was delicious and went down just fine. I went back for seconds because other items on the buffet were a little "iffy". It was the safest thing on the table, and the best choice.

I too have a new found like of different kinds of Beans. I've always loved Garbanzo beens but now I like black beans and Cannalleni (sp?) beans.

I recently found a recipe for blanced escarole, Cannalleni beans, olive oil and some broth....LOVE IT
