Just wanted to get involved in this awesome website. I am scheduled for surgery 7/21/05, & I am so excited about it! And I have to say that I am sooo glad that I found this site. Everyone is so helpful & supportive. All of the questions that have popped into my head have been answered here. Just wanted to say Thanks ahead of time.

They make you jump thru alot of hoops, & it feels like it will never get here!, but then all of a sudden it is right around the corner. I couldn't hardly believe it when my insurance told me that they cover this type of surgery.

Hey!!! They just called me, my surgery time has been moved up to 7:30 a.m. & I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 A.M.!!! I guess that is a good thing, I will be done earlier, & on my way to thinner!! YAHOOOO!!!!

Well, I'm in the right crowd. I was just banded on Monday. I'm still pretty sore, but I guess that's to be expected. The surgeon also discovered I had a hernia, so they fixed that too. I wonder if that's uncommon?
