Hello From The Adirondack Mountian, New York

Hello to all

I'm a 56 years old, 400lbs guy who is currently jumping through the hoops in order to have the surgery.

I'm scheduled for 1/26/09 if all the testing is completed by them. I don't mind saying that I'm scared to death about the operation and some of the tests performed. I keep going because I know that it will add years to my life . At least the quality of life will improve. I* will return. John

Hello and welcome John! You will find this place has so much information to peruse and to assist you as you move through your journey. I know it did for me!

Hi John,

Greetings from your neck of the woods!

I am scheduled for surgery on 12/18 at Ellis Hosp. Tuesday I start the 4 weeks of Medifast. It's been a long journey, but I have learned so much along the way, mostly from this very site.

I wish you the best
