Thanks, Pete! It's probably a good thing to let this go until 11/24 - With the holiday and offices closed for that, most of the December dates will probably be assigned by then and they will be starting to work on January.

We have just a little over 3 weeks - I am starting to get excited!

I'm waiting on approval and thinking possitive that I will be banded in Dec

When I make a banner it tells me that I do not have enough space even if I remove things. Is there another place to put it than edit signature? I see some are larger than mine so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I went ahead and stole it, copy/paste style!

If we end up with a different name, can we count on you to come up with the banner for the new name?

Ugh..Holiday Hotties is in the lead. For some reason I really don't like that name. But I'll live with it either way.

I'm just so excited that it's getting closer to the big day!!!

I know, I really hate that name. If it wins I just won't put a banner in my signature, that's all.

But everyone else should of course feel free - after all, majority rules!

Wow - that was a happy change for you! I don't think I have heard of anyone actually getting their surgery moved up instead of back. I am with you on the unprepared scene. I would have a heck of a time trying to get everything together for an earlier date (but would take it if they told me to!! teehee).

Best of luck to you. Keep us posted on your progress! :)

I was suprised too. When the Dr's office called me this morning they were originally going to change my date to the 22nd of December but the company I work for is getting ready to change insurance so the Dr found a time to fit me in earlier. I guess that is the benefit of being from a small town in Nebraska.

Well really that is great to have your surgery moved up! Congrats on that and don't stress to much over it. Remember this means you get to start your new life earlier rather then later!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
