Hi I am a newbie to this site and will need a mentor

Searching for a great doctor in the Metro Atlanta Area. I have been told by my doctor that I am a candidate for the lap band but is searching for a good doctor the will refer me to a lap band surgeon! My current doctor doesn't really believe in the lap band nor the gastric bypass. She wants me to do it on my own. Which I am trying to do but very hard. :smile2: My insurance will cover 90 percent of the procedure! I need a lil help with this matter.

There is a Band Buddy forum to get a mentor, but it will probably be quicker to post something the Georgia state forum asking for the name of a good PCP in your area who is WLS friendly.

OMG!!!

Have I got the doc for you!!

DR JOHN DALY

980 Johnson Ferry road in Decatur

404-252-0433

Ofc Manager is Tammy and she is the most amazing person I have ever met.

I am from Macon, went through the initial stuff with a doctor in Augusta, and to my dismay they could not get it approved with my insurance. I got dicouraged and waited 1.5 years. Then I met Dr. Daly. Within 1.5 months I had my surgery. (Last Weds as a matter of fact and doing awesome!!)

You can check out so much info on Dr John on Obesityhelp.com. He is ranked at the top in nation.

:D
