If these women in my office don't SHUT UP about needing to go on a diet, I'm going to scream!!!!!
:cursing:
Seriously, there are 6 women including myself in my office (we're in a male-dominated industry), and I swear not one of them is over 130lbs. Then there's me, the big girl. They're all thin and in great shape. That hasn't ever bothered me.
But right now, they're standing around in a little group right near my desk, talking about how they need to go on a diet, and that they're starting to gain weight.
"Oh my, I've gained like 5lbs, I've got to get it off of me. UGH."
"Yea, I can always tell when I start to gain weight, I start to get the bye-bye arm and my arm jiggles, I just can't have that! Gross!"
GEEZ WOMEN!!! Do you have any idea how disgusting it makes me feel when you're 5 feet away from me, scoffing at your size 4 frame????
The worst part is that the skinniest one, she's about 6' tall and maybe 110lbs soaking wet - she looks over at me as they're discussing this. We meet eyes, and then she looks away and starts talking about "letting herself go" since she got married a year ago. I MEAN REALLY PEOPLE?!?!
Of course they don't know I"m getting the band in 12 days. I can't wait to lose this weight. I feel so grossly fat right now.
