I was banded in May by Dr Simchuk in Chico Ca. Is there anyone else out there who would like to share experiences?

Hey, my FIL lives in Paradise -- right near you. I didn't realize there was anyone out there doing bariatrics. I figured you'd have to go to Sacramento. That's good to know.

I'm near Yosemite, so not too close but wanted to say, "Hi!" My mom used to work at Chico State and lived in Chico for about 7 years. It's a nice place! As a kid she lived briefly in both Chico and Paradise.

Does your surgeon have a support group? That might be a better way to find some people closer to you. You'll find some great people on here but maybe not near you!

Is there a group in Sacramento? I am just getting started with the porcess and hearing all kinds of things, I am going to have alot of questions. I am having to go to Roseville for the surgery, there is no one in Sacramento that is under HealthNet.

Does anyone know of a Dr who will do fills in the Chico area? I have recently moved here from Dallas, Texas, and cannot find ANYONE who will give me a fill
