Anybody Else Overly Emotional???

Oh my goodness. I was pretty emotional before my surgery while I was on the pre-op diet, but was hoping that would go away after my surgery. I'm not crabby now.... I just seem to cry so easily. I come from a crybaby family anyway, but.... now... OMG! After I cry, I think how goofy it was, but..... Anyone else experiencing this??? Will it pass or will I just be a much healthier crier??

Basically, any psychological issues you had pre op (diagnosed or not) can be amplified post op. My psych eval pointed out a few points that could become problems post op... but right now they are okay. So if you were a little depressed or overly emotional before, it's no surprise that it's worsened now. You might want to try some self help or seeing a psych just to see where you stand.

I hope it gets better soon..the other day I cried at the kirklands because my mom was insisting on buying me way to much stuff for my new house..then I was a total biatch at the mystery dinner show even tho I was having a good time.
