Colorado Female Buddies

:w00t:Hey, I am trying to find a buddy/group of buddies from Colorado that is/are female and not yet banded. I am close to being banded (should be getting my date within the next week or so) and just wanted to have someone to talk to and experience stuff with.

Let me know if anyone is interested!!

Farmington, NM. In the Northwest corner. About 45 miles from Durango. I was in Denver last week. I get there every few months as my boss lives there. I work from home.

hi Nicole. I think I emailed you on obesity help. I am also a fat girl from Colorado, getting banded in 6 hours ! I'd love to mentor or have you as one. I live in Glendale near dave and busters.

Yes, you talk to me on OH. I just replied to a thread you had somewhere else on here.

Yeah, but now we are going to be skinny girls in Colorado! Yeah, we can be buddies. I hope your surgery went good, I know with Dr. Snyder it did. What band did you get? Lap band or Realize? Do you have a Blackberry phone? I ask because you were typing on the threads from your cell. Let me know everything when you feel up to it...

yep I've got an iPhone. Very tedious to type on the touch screen. Ok actually here at the hospital

Sweet! I like the I-Phones, I have a Blackberry through AT&T though. I really wanted an I-Phone, but at the time I bought it the I-Phones were still like $599 (just before they had the newer cheaper ones this year). :) Oh well, I still love my phone.

I can't believe you are up and talking to me from the hospital right now, HAHAHAHA!! That's too damn funny! Ok, as far as gas pains, will the nurses let you walk around at all? That is what helped me the most that first night that and the fact that the meds he prescribed didn't do sh*t for me (they do now, but the gas pains hurt too much then). I called him and got liquid medicine, it was some sort of narcotic. That worked wonders!!! If you are in pain, tell the damn nurse you need something else or need to walk. The only thing with the walking is that it doesn't make them go away, it just makes them less painful. Let me know what you do, ever since surgery I am up until at least 3 (I took time off work and I am taking advantage dammit!)... :tt2:

Hey Nicole! How are you? I only have the iphone cause my boyfriend bought a new one and gave me his old one. I am sooo hard on phones so I would've never opted to buy it myself! But I do love it. How are you? I have a lapband, what made you chose realize? I had a really hard time trying to figure out which one to go with.

I WAS a fat chick in Colorado...banded almost a year ago. LOL I'm on the western slope. Hope things are going well for you since your surgery. I still have 40 lbs to go and am still considered "overweight." So I guess "fat" would be a relative term. LOL

im a fat girl from colorado too!

just living in virginia  poo
