So I had my consult today with Dr. Norwood and his team is amazing. They prechecked my insurance and the surgery is 100% covered so they are already talking abotu me taking my pre op tests and classes as early as OCT 13 and scheduling the surgery for that week...yay! I was so nervous going in thinking that this was going to take months to get sorted out and it turns out it shouldn't. The coordinator there said she should get the final approval from my insurance company by next friday.

My process hasn't been bad - you can see my timeline in my signature. The nutritionists' consult is tomorrow, and I pray they get their report done quickly so I can get my consult with the doc scheduled and then hopefully my surgery!:biggrin:
