9/11 now has new significance

My surgery was 9/11. At first I felt funny about the date but now I think it's cool. For better or for worse, 9/11 changed America forever. Now for me, 9/11 is a new start and a day I'll never forget.

Any other 9/11 bandeds out there?

I was banded on 9/11. It was a bit weird to be sitting in the surgery center lobby with my family, watching GMA and seeing all of the memorials, etc.....knowing that it would forever be a date that I remembered fondly from now forward.

It is memorable for me in a different way. This was the day my insurance approved me :)

I too am a 9/11 bandster...it is a weird day to be banded...
