Preparing to go back to desk job

I'm coming back to work 4 days post op (no other choice in the matter unless it's absolutely impossible for me to come).

What should I bring with me? What will I be able to wear? Will I be swolen?

Here are just a few things that come to mind that I'll need to bring to work.... food (obviously), a few Water bottles, tums, heating pad, pillow to put behind my back.

What am I missing? Are there any special accomodations I might need to arrange with my employer (aside from more time off, lol).

My suggestion is not exactly "dr ordered", but a friend of mine who had a mini gastric and came back to work very early advised me that she wrapped her midsection with an ace bandage. It works for me!

I had surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Monday. I was very fortunate in that I didn't have much pain at all after the third day. I did have a bit of tiredness by the end of the day. I took all I needed to drink for the day with me.
