Have you had chemotherapy after banding?

Have you had chemo after banding?

If so please share your story.

I may be undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer and need to know if you had your band emptied and how you faired with the imminent nausia that follows.

While I have not had to have chemo yet, I did get banded with stage 0 CLL and will eventually have to have chemo and a bone marrow transplant. The lapband is the only wls that my oncologist would approve because then she said I could be unfilled during chemo to get adequate nutrition.
