I don't get mushies until week 3. And Barbara thanks but....I want food, not a summer treat! LOL Honestly the only time I've been even vaguely nauseated was when I tried the sugar free Jello. It tasted so sweet it about did me in! I'll just have to quit whining and wait for food time. And...I really AM hungry. I'm not thirsty. I'm not bored. Just hungry!

Pam you're right. I'm being too rigid. And if I eat a popsicle, then afterward I can gnaw on the stick. LOL

OK it isn't THAT bad, but it feels like it could get that bad really quickly! LOL

I LOVE SF popsicles! And I found SF fudgsicles too! I was banded on July 9th, stayed on the liquid/soft for about 2 wks. I ate chicken and beef broth, SF Jello & pudding, SF popsicles, SF fudgsicles, farina, and Ensure. I would also make Protein Drinks with 100% whey Protein Powder I found at Walmart, about $12 for a big jug of it and it came in chocolate, I saved a ensure bottle and would funnel in the powder and then fill and shake with Water til it was well mixed and full, put it in the frig and then have it sometime in the morning. I found thatif I had it tooo late in the day it would keep me up for some reason, but the 2 scoops gives 52grams of protein!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
