Hello All,

I am planning to go for a fill this Tuesday... last one didn't do any good. I couldn't hold what he tried to input, so it wasn't really a fill and by the next week - I was eating whatever I wanted again. Anyway, I'd like to get back on the right path.

So, send me your Breakfast ideas (easy ones - to eat at my desk).

Thanks!

My stand-by breatkfast is a morningstar sausage patty and some Southwest Eggbeaters. Now I only have enough eggbeaters to cover the bottom of a bowl. I microwave the eggbeaters for about 1 minute and the sausage patty takes about 30 secods.

I just got approved last Thursday. Yay!! Start 15 carbs per meal Sept. 5th, meet doc. Sept 30th and I requested Oct. 5th, my birthday! What could be a better gift to myself and my family? Crossed fingers for the 5th. I am too happy and can't wait to loose this weight!

I was banded October 23, 2008 -- am down 58.6 pounds as of this morning! Only 16.4 pounds to go until I hit my goal! I'm hoping to be at least half way from here to there by my bandiversary! :frown:

I am wondering if any of you would like to start a challenge.

We are only one month away from October! OMG I can't even believe that! I was banded at the end of the month, but it is still coming up soon. Anyone interested in a Halloween Challenge? We could weigh in every Saturday Morning and I'll keep track and post it here.

Who is in? I really need to get on track and get the sweets out of my system.

If you are interested Weigh yourself. Let me know that you want your name added to the Challenge List. This will be an eight week challenge and so my goal will be 16 lbs.

Just to let the new "Smashing Pumkins" know. There should be a thread for October 2009 if you search for it but you are welcome to join us if you would like.

Halloween Challenge:

Julie.Ann (16lbs) :)

Just tell me your goal. You don't have to post your weight, but you are welcome to. I keep it at home on a spread sheet so I don't forget what I weigh week to week.

Each Saturday or so post your weight lost for the week. I'm trying for 2 pounds a week. Keep your fingers crossed.

When does your pre-op diet start? Are you on a special diet? I started about 2 weeks before my surgery date and cut out all bread, Pasta, rice and potatoes. High Protein diet. Anytime you start to look for food ask yourself if you are really hungry. You can do it!

If you are looking for others scheduled for surgery in October Here is the forum address: October 09 Bandsters - Lap Band Surgery and Lap Band Discussion Forum

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
