I am very new to all of this... I am still in the virgin stage of information when it comes to Lab Band Surgery. I would appreciate expert advice from someone who either has already gone through this experience or is walking the walk as we speak. I sure hope that this will help many people like myself who are either just starting out on this adventure or just looking into it, cuz I sure do have lots of question bouncing around in my head.

I am still at the paper work stages I sent the info to the Doctors office that seem ok. Now I am waiting for the Insurance Company to get back to me with all their requirements.

I was just approved on Tuesday. I started the journey Nov 2007. I would say to make sure you follow you insurance requirements to the letter, and always remember to be pro active. I did most of my approval stuff on my own. My surgeon took no for an answer the first time around. I did not and got approved. It is a long journey for alot of us and daunting at times, but pays off in the end. Good luck Tamara
