Starting fresh after 3 years of being on my own.

Hello as you see my name is Angela Howell. I'm from Norwich, CT. I've been on my own for 3 years now. NO DOCTOR, NO DIET no nothing. I've been doing so bad and put on about 30 of the 70 lbs I lost when I had the band put on. I need support and I need a support group. I can't find anything close to me at all. I really need a new doctor closer then NY City. It takes me 3 hours to get to him to do adjustments if anyone knows of anyone closer then that please let me know.

Your band is always ready when you are. You can do this, even after an extended hiatus.

Have you been in for a fill as of yet? What is your restriction level like? Are you tracking your food?

I am also from Ct. I had my band done on June 26th by Dr. Kurt Roberts at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is part of the bariatric surgical group at Temple Medical. I have been very happy with him and his nurse/nutrtionist is wonderful too.

I agree the band is always there when your ready!! Good for you ready to start over and move forward!! This board is a wonderful place to learn and help! Good -Luck to you!
