I will be a full fledged bandster on 6/15!! I'm wondering if anyone else had surgery in Chicago at MIBC? How was your experience? Anything you'd like to share--so far they have been great especially Ryan(insurance goddess) she helped me get my appeal for Aetna to cover it!! Yahoo..

omg good luck! i have aetna too and will be going to the doctors for them to Ok the operation and then the insurance but it should cover it! can't wait till those days ttyl!

I am not using MBIC but I am using Dr. Horgan. I see him at the UIC office and the surgical coordinator there is really good too. I am appealing now and they are really going the extra mile to help me. I know that is how they make their money, but they called to make sure I was ok when my coverage was being declined.
