Hi Ursula!!

sorry i.m only getting back now! been busy running teenagers all over the country ! lol!!

Frederik has agreed to let me pay the 400 euro at the consultation in Dublin! so this a lot less hassle!

can't believe i am getting this done! It has all happened so fast!! i was out shopping for clothes today with my daughter and seeing all the pretty 'little' clothes made me feel more determined to go through with this and made me realise that it's definately the right decision!!

Also i saw my back 'view' in the mirrors of Evans!!! Am i really that big?????????!!!

Ah thats great angie getting to pay deposit at consultation cos them forms bank are tricky to fill out and u need so much info to put on them... Oh il be home from belgium this day 2wks cant beleive it time will fly for me now im just so nervous bout the pre op diet i havnt done much so i think i may go on a liquid diet from tomorro till op im a dope i should have started it earlied im getting all upset now that i havnt im near getting panic attacks over it... Oh i know what u mean by the mirrors in evans haha im not going to buy any new clothes id like to hold out till xmas all i plan buying between now an then is tracksuits i love them and even if they get baggy its ok to wear them like that i cant stop thinking about what il look like and what il wear its so so exciting i havnt cut dwn smoking yet either it has to be the worst time to cut down with nerves and all...

Don't worry too much about the pre op diet !! you will be fine!! you still have plenty of time to get started! no point beating yourself up over it!!! and anyway Dr Chris didn't stipulate a set diet! just said low fat so you don't need to be too extreme!

I know what you mean about the cigarettes!!!!!!! funny thing is it was my blood pressure that triggered this whole thing off a couple of weeks ago!! it was so high that my medication had to be instantly upped and i have had to attend my doctor every 2 days for checks etc! i was so shocked at the time that i gave the fags up the very next day! and will now be off them 2 weeks tomorrow!!

It was my doctor who suggested the band cos losing the weight would help with my health problems! i hadn't even considered it til then lol!! Knowing that i am going to get this done in the next 4 weeks has given me determination to kick the cigarettes once and for all, and my doctor said that i should look on the positive side! at least i don't have to worry about putting on weight by giving up!!!!

Don't want to buy many clothes either! but going back to college just before my operation and need a couple of things to tide me over til i thinner!! I am lucky though! i kept all my "thinner' clothes from the last time i lost weight! so i have plenty of size 16 and 18s which will hopefully fit me by christmas!!

When do you intend to go down for your first fill? i think his next time here is around the 11th of October or so? this will be too soon for my first fill, which means i will have to wait til November!! that will be about 6 weeks!!!! OH well! nothing i can do about that!

Have you ever used the chat room on this site?

Oh by the way! my msn is angiecurran70@hotmail.co.uk

hang in there!! not too long now!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
