Hello everyone, I just found this forum today and I am on my way to getting "banded"; I have had all of my pre-opt testing and I meet with my surgeon on 8/6/08, to hopefully schedule my "lapband" date. So I just wanted to say "Hi" and hopefully make so connections with people going through the samething as I am and to gain knowledge from the people that have already been "banded"...thanks for listening..

hey lola i am in the same predicament. i had my weight loss seminar on saturday and stayed for a support group and it was truly inspiring and motivating. i have never been so motivated to lose weight as i am now.

i have an appointment scheduled for october 6 and hopefully i can get an earlier appt to get this show on the road. i called my insurance company today and they told me i am covered for bariatric surgery and i am collecting medical records so that i will be able to have a packet togther for my doctor's office by the end of the week. i want them to know i am serious about this
