Evaluating the Process...

Hello, I am looking at the lap band process. I am currently going through the six month process required by my insurance company. I don't know if I can go through with surgery or not... I am currently giving diet and exercise a serious shot before taking more drastic measures. My wife is convinced that the Lap Band is for her and is actively persuing the process to have surgery. Is there any long term (5 to 10 years and up) data out there regarding this process? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to LBT! Losingjusme is right, there is a lot of info here on this site. It's just a matter of searching around and finding it. You might could try googling "longterm effects of lap band" and see what comes up. Good luck to you and your wife in your weight loss journey, however you decide to do it. Take care.
