3 days post op - did you tell all your friends?

I have just had the band done. I told nobody but the immediate family. I am curious as to whether or not I should tell my friends or let them figure it out over time. I told some of the neighbours that I had a small laproscopic abdominal procedure and they haven't asked for details. Funny that this is bothering me, I guess that means things are going well. First week liquid diet not an issue so far. Good luck to all us portly beggars.:)

Personally, I'm pretty open it. Everybody is different, though. No big deal either way. Sounds like you are doing great, and well on your way.

Glad to hear everything is going well post-op. I told some of my immediate family and close friends. At work I only told one colleague but only because she had the same surgery this past May. At this point I feel I told enough people and had my full of positive and negative reactions that I decided to keep it now to myself. Perhaps when I loose a lot of weight and people start asking I may or may not tell them.

Agree - personal decision. Some do, some don't. I didn't tell many people upfront, but if they ask about my weight loss, I tell.
