Waiting to be banded

I have never been on here before, but I am really researching the lab band and I have several questions I was hoping the site might answer. I have a friend who is going in 9 days to be banded in mexico by Dr. Guillermo Alvarez, and everything we have read on him is wonderful. I was wondering if anyone has used him and what your opinion of the experience was. more from me later...bye

hi bbtex - welcome to LBT.

you may want to do a search in Hospitals & Doctor's section for that surgeon. i have not heard of him, but that doesnt mean anything. :)

best of luck to you.

I'm waiting to be banded as well. I'm having it done in Statesville, NC.
