I'm getting baptized tomorrow before my surgery on Friday. My pastor first approached me about it and I was worried...thinking- wait?! Are you saying I'm going to die?! :embaressed_smile:
But then we talked again and she assured me this was NOT her though process! But instead she wanted me to be more at peace with my decision and go into this surgery with no regrets! Either way- I've been wanting to get baptized in the Lutheran faith for quite some time now. I'm glad to be doing it!
Talk about a big week- baptism AND the band. All in one week
Prayers at this time are very appreciated. I'm still concerned about something going wrong during surgery. But knowing that I will be with my Heavenly Father if it does makes me feel SO much better!
