All teens in LONG BEACH OR SOUTHBAY AREAS, PLEASE TAKE A LOOK!! SOUTHERN CALI AREA OK

My name is Halle

I'm 16 and im going to get the lapband.

I am 6ft 1inch tall. Most people cant really tell that im obese because of my height, but I surely can. my BMI is on the high side, and I just want to nip this thing in the bud ,because family medical history wise, the odds are against me.

So im looking for other teens in my are ages 16-19 years old who will get the lapband as well, or are going to get it just like me. I just want to be able to talk to someone about it. I just moved to long becah less then a month ago, so I dont exactly have ANY friends yet, so anyones welcome, girls and guys.

send me a message through here, or email nosnhojellah@@gmail.com

Tell me your story, and maybe we can meet in person and exchange phone numbers:lol::cool::)

I am so glad to read your post. I am a mom of a 17 year old young man. We are going through the steps to get him banded now. We live in central California, about 8 hours away from you. We have been to three appointments and have to loose 50lbs before surgery early next year. Our insurance is really putting us through the hoops to be ready. He is on an eating plan that is practice for post op eating. He is having trouble with the thought of no soda and no drinking with meals. He is not here now, he is at work, but I will have him log in later and maybe you two can post to each other about your hopes and worries.
